Music Bank, the multi K-pop artists concert from South Korea, will be in Istanbul for the first time on 7 September 2013 for an exceptional show at Ulker Sports Arena.
Music Bank is one of the most popular music programmes from Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) in Korea, which is broadcast live through KBS World Channel to 73 countries around the world. This weekly entertainment programme is an opportunity to see the most famous K-pop artists and is the debut vehicle for upcoming artists. It is the driving force behind the famous Hallyu Wave (or Korean wave) sweeping across and beyond Asian markets, and has a very steady fan base around the world as it remains one of the only shows that satisfies, every week, the fans’ craving for K-Pop.
The Istanbul show will have the privilege to welcome six of the most famous Korean artist groups who will set the audience on fire with their powerful choreography and their romantic ballads. The confirmed Artist lineup is Super Junior, BEAST, MBLAQ, FTISLAND, miss A and Ailee . Often punctuated by surprises and unique performances, the Music Bank K-Pop Festival is an electrifying, enchanting and the highest quality show.
Back in July 2011, the first Music Bank World Tour took place in Tokyo Japan with a sold-out show at Tokyo Dome. In February 2012, the second show was hugely successful in Paris, France with dynamic performances from top level K-pop artists and an extravagant production. In December 2012, the third show hit Chile with a sold-out show. It was the first multi K-POP artist concert in South America.

Super Junior is a South Korean boy band. Formed in 2005 by producer Lee Soo-man of S.M. Entertainment, the group comprised a total of thirteen members at its peak. Super Junior originally debuted with twelve members, consisting of leader Leeteuk, Heechul, Hankyung, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook and Kibum. Kyuhyun joined the group in 2006.
Known as the "Kings of the Korean Wave", Super Junior launched into international recognition following the release of their best-selling single "Sorry, Sorry" in 2009, the title song of their most critically successful album [Sorry, Sorry] and were the best-selling K-pop artist for three years in a row.
Over the years, they have been divided into smaller subgroups, simultaneously targeting different music industries and audiences. Largely due to Super Junior's success as entertainers, other Korean entertainment managements began to train their music groups in other areas of entertainment, such as acting and hosting. In addition to their commercial success, Super Junior has earned fourteen music awards from the Mnet Asian Music Awards, sixteen from the Golden Disk Awards, and is the second singing group to win Favorite Artist Korea at the 2008 MTV Asia Awards. In 2012 they were nominated for "Best Asian Act" in MTV Europe Music Awards showing one more time their popularity around world.
Beast is a six-member boy band from South Korea, formed in 2009 by Cube Entertainment.
Beast has released one Korean full-length album, six Korean mini-albums, one Japanese full-length and various singles. The group's debut release was in October, 2009, when their first mini-album, Beast Is the B2ST, was made available. They then released their first full-length album, Fiction and Fact, in 2011.
The group gained attention for the lack of industry success previously experienced by its members, with media outlets referring to them as "a group of recycled material". However, the group has achieved significant commercial and critical accolades with time, winning the award at the Seoul Music Awards in both 2011 and 2012. Beast won the Artist of the Year award at the Melon Music Awards and Album of the Year for Fiction and Fact at the k-pop Chart Awards for the second quarter of the year in 2011. "Fiction" also won a Song of the Year at the 2011 KBS Music Festival.
MBLAQ is a South Korea boy band created by South-Korean entertainer Rain under J.Tune Camp. The group consists of Seungho, G.O, Lee Joon, Cheondung, and Mir. The group debuted on October 15, 2009, at Rain's Legend of Rainism concert.
On October 14, 2009, the group released their debut single album, Just BLAQ, which topped various online and offline music charts in South Korea. The group then released their first extended play album Y on May 19, 2010, and on January 10, 2011, MBLAQ released their first studio album, BLAQ Style.
In 2012, J. Tune Camp announced that MBLAQ members Mir and G.O will split into a sub-unit. The sub-unit was originally going to debut back in May, but since MBLAQ got their first Asia Tour and G.O's filming of Phantom. Yet the sub-unit didn't get a name and their debut was postponed. But on MBLAQ's first Asia Tour, the sub-unit released their first single, Wild.
F.T. Island, short for Five Treasure Island, is a five-member South Korean pop/rock band. The members are Choi Jong-hoon (guitar and keyboard), Lee Hongki (lead vocals) Lee Jae jin (bass and vocals), Song Seung-hyun (guitar and vocals), and Choi Min-hwan (drums). Their debut album, titled "Cheerful Sensibility", was the sixth best-selling album in 2007. Their debut song "Lovesick" topped the K-Pop charts for eight consecutive weeks. Oh Won Bin was a member of the band until the beginning of 2009.
Miss A , commonly stylized as miss A, is a four member Chinese-Korean girl group based in South Korea. They were formed by JYP Entertainment and are managed by AQ Entertainment. The group consists of Fei, Jia, Min, and Suzy. Their group name stands for Miss Asia.
Amy Lee (Korean name: Lee Yejin, born May 30, 1989), better known by her stage name Ailee, is a Korean-American singer under YMC Entertainment, a South Korean record label. She released her first single, "Heaven", on February 8, 2012.
